Traditional Epics: A Literary Companion
Published in Paperback by Oxford University Press (January, 1996)
Average review score:

Everything from Gilgamesh to the Legend of Ra'i Ra'i!This is an excellent title, with an A-Z listing of the classic sagas and epics of world culture. It is particularly strong in the area of Scandinavian sagas and more obscure ancient epics. It contains over 1400 entries with extensive cross-referencing, very helpful for the comparison of common themes. Highly recommended to any student of history, mythology, or literature.

Transhuman Space
Published in Hardcover by Steve Jackson Games (October, 2002)
Average review score:

An excellent extrapolation of transhumanist ideasPulver has really outdone himself with this book. With everything from simple genetic upgrade humans and memetic warfare, to intelligent octopi and autonomous sentient computer programs roaming the world computer networks, Transhuman Space really gives plenty of bang for the buck. Story ideas will leap at you from every page.

Transhuman Space Fifth Wave
Published in Paperback by Steve Jackson Games (April, 2002)
Average review score:

Things are going to get weird...The first full-length supplement for Transhuman Space, Fifth Wave looks to describe the situation on Earth, at least from the point of view of those who haven't been left by the wayside of economic and technological growth (see the forthcoming Broken Dreams for them). Using futurist techniques of extrapolating probable populations and economies, Zeigler has made a fully believable world of the future. This book also includes a number of new templates for various posthuman types, from free memes (gypsy ai computer programs) to genetically engineered people. The Transhuman Space setting just seems to be getting better and better.

Transhuman Space Orbital Decay
Published in Paperback by Steve Jackson Games (March, 2002)
Average review score:

A wonderful adventure. The nicest thing about this GURPS Transhuman Space adventure is that it could be easily adapted to any space RPG and possibly even made to fit other genres. It is a pleasure to read even if you don't intend on running it.

Turn Not Pale, Beloved Snail; A Book About Writing Among Other Things.
Published in Hardcover by Little Brown & Co (Juv Trd) (December, 1974)
Average review score:

For those who are writers at heart, and don't know it!I read this book for the first time in Junior High. It was an answer to everything about writing I was looking for. It assured me that EVERYTHING I put on paper was, in some form, a piece of art. Suddenly, a pen on paper moved easily from line to line, never wondering if the words were "creative" enough. I highly reccomend this book for all ages. It is out of print, but is worth every penny if you can find it!

Turn of the Century
Published in School & Library Binding by Charlesbridge Publishing (01 July, 1998)
Average review score:

A beautifully illustrated, very informative book.I read this book to my 5th grade students. They enjoyed listening for the differences between life in 1990's and the various centuries. After hearing facts about a century, they were quick to point out how these had been incorporated into the beautiful illustrations. It can be difficult for 10-year-olds to understand how life in the past could be so different. Sometimes they take our modern conveniences for granted, and have difficulty imagining a different way of life. This book provided this information in a very interesting way. I especially enjoyed how, after weaving the distinct features of life at the turn of the century into the character's narrative, the author would then list them on the opposing page. This book was entertaining and informative.

Twin Tales : The Magic and Mystery of Multiple Birth
Published in School & Library Binding by Little Brown & Company (April, 2001)
Average review score:

Wonderful book to share with your twinsThis book is perfect for sharing with your twins when they are children to help them understand their special gift, or if you have other children who will soon have twin brothers or sisters. I think it would also be enjoyable and informative if you are a grandparent, teacher or other who interacts with twins. It gives a delightful, easy-to-read overview of twins and answers all the questions one might have if they know little about these special people. I thought the layout of the book, the photographs and information was perfect for this target audience. I highly recommend this book. I have passed it around to my entire family and everyone loved it. Buy this book!

Uncle Albert's Catalog from Hell: A Complete Catalog and Design Book for Car Wars
Published in Paperback by Steve Jackson Games (August, 1992)
Average review score:

"Complete" means COMPLETEThis book is an outstanding resource for anyone with even a passing interest in Car Wars. It combines all vehicle body types (including cars, bikes, tanks, helicopters and airplanes!) as well as the equipment and weaponry from all previously published material. In college, I bought 2 copies -- one for me and one to circulate around my gaming group. This book contains equipment for those who prefer the classic slugfest, but also stealth, sound-systems and sound enhancement systems useful for ROLE-PLAYING.
As a side note, for anyone who plays other RPGs but needs good vehicle combat rules, give Car Wars a try. The vehicle combat rules are quick and clean. In the early 90s, there were even groups adapting Car Wars vehicle construction for use in GURPS and Shadowrun.
If you like Car Wars (or just need some good vehicle construction rules) get this book.
